4k per annum here. On 10 acres Alpine Shire NE Vic. Farming zone
I was always of the understanding that rates were indexed to the value of the property, not the size.
I know different zoning affects the index/percentage you pay on the value of the property.
My mum's paying 4k as well on a 3/4 acre block in town. Alpine Shire again.
On a side note I find it highly unfair that some of the "capital improved value" is stuff I built without a permit and could also be fined for.
