Either way something seems screwy. If your gauge was at exactly 1/8 you should still have had 8-9L onboard... It would seem either your gauge is out (you were running on fumes), or their pump is very wrong...

I filled up until the bowser clicked out, then rounded off to the next even $
I have had Costco bowsers continue to pump until its running out the top of the filler before cutting out so it could be that.
I would be surprised if the bowsers were in-accurate. I was just surprised as I expected to put in 66-68 litres based on distance and avg fuel consumption.
On a side note, the fuel light came on with DTE of about 145km. Is this what others experience? I did travel about 80km before filling so maybe I was running on fumes. At least I know how far I can go.
