I previously worked for an electronics retailer who went bust last year, that industry has improved. I now work for a small retail bank. We have had a quieter year than normal but still above projections.

Some businesses are going gang busters though. Coffee shops/fast food shops and gyms in town are killing it. Many of our local travel agents are doing well also. Car yards look like they are struggling. A few small clothing stores have closed down.
