I don't think you need criticism. the idea of "humane slaughtering" is a bit of an oxymoron in itself. they're being killed anyway - nothing particularly humane about that, and it's what they were bred for - to be killed and eaten. in any case, animals have been slaughtered "inhumanely" for thousands of years (and mostly not by people) and to some extent its just the cycle of life. animals get treated worse in the wild than anything humans are likely to do to them. by all means try to improve things, but this national outrage and full export bans and whatever is over the top, IMO
