Okay took me a while to get the pictures from my brother's camera!
First are the pics of the genuine clear indicators. They were hard to fit as my car has the bodykit and that covers one of the screws that you need to get to to remove the cover inside the wheel arch to get to the back of the indicators. I had to pry them off with a butter knife covered in a rag (to not damage the paint). They look great pitty about the amber globes but even they are genuine (motorcraft).
Next is the door pulls they were easy to fit you just pry the plastic cover off the door and then unscrew them. They are plastic and look metal, I guess that ain't to bad as imagine real metal ones on a hot day...
(Before anyone says anything about the spray marks...they are armour all that I used to clean up some scuff marks but it over sprayed and I haven't had time to fix it yet. With two jobs my Fiesta isn't getting as much pampering as it used to)
Next are the pedals, very easy to fit. They just pull off and then the new ones go straight on you just have to pull the rubber backing over the pedal to fit (it was a little fidly doing that but took about 10 mins each).
The throttle pedal costs about $120 as you get the whole unit. The pedals I have been told are identical to the ST170 Focus ones so if you can get them from Ford over here you could fit them as well. I just want to stick with genuine parts and have all the paperwork to prove it is all genuine.
On another note I got the CD player remote control for the steering column and was told that you just need to cut a hole in the steering column to fit it... WRONG!
The normal column doesn't have the same cut in shape and won't fit at all. So now I have to get the lower plastic part for the steering colunm and it is worth $370!!!!!! So it will cost you about $450 to fit the remote unit to a Fiesta that doesn't have one. (All the plugs and wires are there under the column but the plastic parts are not the same). Also you need to tell them what month your Fiesta was made in if it is a 2004 as there are differences in the parts for that year.
Hope to get some time to clean it out nicely this weekend.
Cheers All!
