Well atleast the car would smell nice for awhile when you started driving around and the popcorn popped. Burnt popcorn stinks though. I hate people that a) eat in a car when the driver doesnt like it, or b) spill food all over the car even if they are allowed to eat in it. This also follows hand in hand with the old rule: You bring something into the car, you take it when you leave. No rubbish in my car thanks!
